NWG June Literary Event Features Author Sachin WaikarSachin Waikar is a freelance writer/editor who has brought many books and articles to life. His literary thriller In the Jungle of Black and Yellow, about an Indian cab-driver in the US for vengeance, is available on Amazon, where it has already placed among the top 1% of e-books by sales. Sachin's short fiction has appeared in DrunkenBoat and South Asian Review, while two Seal Press anthologies feature his narrative non-fiction. Sachin's writing for children has appeared in Highlights and Kahani, and his screenwriting has been nominated for a Disney Writing Talent Grant and placed in Miramax/HBO's Project Greenlight. In addition to our featured readers, members of the Naperville Writers Group will read their prose and poetry, and time will be provided for members of the public to read during open mic. The event will be held on Friday, June 29th, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble at the Promenade Center in Bolingbrook , 631 E Boughton Road . The event is free and open to the public.
