The Aunt Minnie Project

I need a Christmas gift for Aunt Minnie. What a problem. Minnie has everything and wants nothing. Last year I gave her a purple shawl, the year before a pink one, but I am running out of colors.

I have the solution. One of Naperville Writers Group Donation Cards is perfect. I donate $10 or more to the NWG and I receive a beautiful card for Minnie. Inside the card notes that I have donated a gift in Minnie's name to NWG.

Not only that, your contribution is tax deductible. You'll receive a receipt for your donation along with the card.

And to sweeten the pot even more, an anonymous NWG member will match the first $200 in contributions made, dollar for dollar. Therefore, a $10 donation made from the program's inception to the date of the 2010 Naperville Writers Group Annual Meeting in March will benefit NWG by $20 until the $200 maximum match has been reached.

This little gift is not only good for Minnie, it works well for people who ask you what you want for Christmas, in case your collection of shawls is getting a little crowded.

Oh, and if you have people on your list who need a little something extra, you can also give them a copy of Rivulets.
